PRE-BOOKED VISITS
You can request an individual call-out to your facility at no extra charge.
SPECTACLES APPROVAL
We provide ocular assessments to ascertain new prescriptions, as well as eye health. All glasses are approved with relevant NOK/POA
Maintenance
We label and repair glasses on-site, as well as DVA new glasses, replacements and repairs.

Who we are and What we do
OnSight Optometry provides a comprehensive and Mobile Domiciliary Optometry Service to Aged care facility residents.
Our comprehensive Domiciliary Ocular service enables Aged Care Facility staff to comply with Accreditations Standards and Guidelines outlined in Standard 2.16 (Sensory Loss) by assessing each residents visual function and visual abilities.
The Optometry services provided cater specifically for residents residing in aged care facilities, with examinations and follow-up service taking place in the comfort of familiar surroundings. OnSight Optometry strives to provide the best service to each resident ensuring the resident’s individual needs are met.
OnSight Optometry utilises the latest in digital handheld mobile optometric technology, which allows assessments of all residents’ eyes, regardless of their state of dementia, health or mobility. This is for visual correction (glasses), cataracts, glaucoma and their ocular health. This allows for computerised objective assessments requiring no reply from residents and produces a superior and more accurate assessments.
